Project 1135

Refurbishment of a Grade II* country house within a Conservation Area in the North Cotswolds. Significant repairs were required to the property, notably including rebuilding one of the chimneys and replacement of a large proportion of the roof timbers & stone slates. Internally, woodwork was restored and lime plaster repairs undertaken throughout. The bathrooms and bespoke joinery in the house are very contemporary in style, creating an interesting juxtaposition with the exposed stonework around windows and original timber panelling. The project included significant external landscaping and remodelling of the gardens, working in conjunction with Dan Pearson Studio. New outbuildings including a garage/store and a greenhouse were also constructed.
